So wow, it's been a while. Things are crazy busy for some reason, and now that it stays lighter longer it's hard to come inside before eight o'clock. Anyone else feel that way? Warmer weather makes you want to stay outside and enjoy it. I love spring! I love the way everything turns from looking completely dead, to brilliantly green in a few short days. We had a great spring break last week and enjoyed the whole week all five of us together. We did go to Tulsa on Wednesday and we had to take Preston's truck. It's a 4-door (whatever they call that), but whew!, that was a lot of togetherness. The kids nearly drove each other crazy, and almost took me with them. We're used to traveling in my car where at least they can sit with a seat between them. But, I hit a deer the week before last, big time. So my car was in the shop being repaired. This is the second deer I hit this school year. One of the perks of living in the country. That brings me to another story. My car was ready on Sunday so we picked it up on the way into town. Preston went in on Tuesday to pay our bill and to our surprise they told us that someone had called in and paid it in full over the phone and they couldn't tell us who! Can you believe that? This was an expensive bill and someone (we still don't know who) paid it for us. What an incredible blessing. Just in case the anonymous payer is reading this, thank you so much, what an incredible gift.
Preston and I went to The Melting Pot when we were in Tulsa for a late anniversary date. (We were married ten years on the 13th). While in Tulsa, Preston's mom offered to keep the kids so we could go out. It was sooooo nice. We sat in "Lover's Lane" and were off completely secluded from
everyone. The food was delicious and I had so much fun being able to just focus on us for once. I am so blessed to be married to this man.
My heart is so broken over the sudden change in Stellan's health. If you click on the button at the top you can read about
Stellan, and MckMama. I have followed her blog since he was sick in utero at 20 weeks. He needs everyone praying on his behalf.
I know this is all over the place. The drawbacks of not posting in a long time. If you're still reading, thanks for keeping up. And for the finale, more pictures. Just random shots that were on my camera I haven't posted yet.
He was so tired here. I love how sweet he is with is hands up by his head.
Still in the hammock. Although now he's learned to swing it.
Jacob is in this huge tree at the park. He can climb anything I tell ya. Then, he just jumps out!
Jake and Will. So cute.
She is so precious.
