I know it's poor quality, but it's the best I could get. This week over at Kelly's Korner we are showing our wedding dress. I loved my dress. I was the first one I saw in the store and tried on, and ended up being THE one. I can remember going in weekly just to try it on. I couldn't wait to wear it on my wedding day. It was beaded and fitted at the top, and a full skirt with train. I felt like a princess in such a big dress. I had so much fun at our wedding. I tease Preston all the time that I want to get married again, I just want to marry him each time. ha! He doesn't get it. For my birthday my mom took my dress, which 10 years later was still hanging in her closet, to be protected and boxed up so I could keep it for my daughter. I was so excited, and so was Lauren. We'll see what she thinks about that in about 20 years when it's her turn to be looking for a dress. She'll probably say thanks, but no thanks! Next week is the wedding party. How much fun. I then have a week to get my scanner working so I can scan those pics in too, hopefully with better quality than this.

Not with life, with blogging. I haven't written in so long, I don't even know where to begin...
We have had a wonderful summer so far. It is sadly almost at an end, but I am so thankful for it. We have spent July doing all kinds of things. Jake had another race in Lubbock two weekends ago. We went to the Science museum while we were there and had so much fun. We were even able to watch an African Safari 3-d show on the omni theater. That was fun too, but Preston and I left feeling pretty sick. It was a little too 3-d for us! Then last weekend we left Thursday night to go camping with 4 other couples at Lake Amistad. It was a blast. I am now on the search to buy our own camper. We rented one, and all fell in love. We spent every day on the lake and it was so relaxing. We had 16 kids between all of us and they all did so well together and had a blast too. I hope we will do that every year. That lake is awesome compared to this lake. You could see so far down it was crazy. I am the only one who got sunburned. And it is bad. My lips are even blistered and burned. I look gross with all the peeling brown skin and the white skin left underneath. Luckily it's been a little cooler these past few days and I can wear shirts with sleeves without having a heat stroke. I am really hoping we can do at least one more trip before I go back to work in two weeks. I am trying to talk P into taking us all to San Antonio and going to Fiesta Texas. The kids would have a blast. We would need to go next weekend though so that might not happen. Anyway, that is a brief overview of our whereabouts since my last post.

Today is a Blog Hop at Kelly's Korner and I decided to join in! It is of a favorite picture. I chose this one. Now although I have 3 kids, a part of me is feeling guilty I chose a picture of only 1. With that said, anyone with three children knows that is is incredibly difficult to get one where all three of them are cooperating. The last one I have of them together is a year old this month! I love Will's eyes in this picture. His are the bluest of all of our children and we still can't get over the fast that we have 3 blue-eyed kids when Preston and I both are brown eyed.
