The Dress

I know it's poor quality, but it's the best I could get. This week over at Kelly's Korner we are showing our wedding dress. I loved my dress. I was the first one I saw in the store and tried on, and ended up being THE one. I can remember going in weekly just to try it on. I couldn't wait to wear it on my wedding day. It was beaded and fitted at the top, and a full skirt with train. I felt like a princess in such a big dress. I had so much fun at our wedding. I tease Preston all the time that I want to get married again, I just want to marry him each time. ha! He doesn't get it. For my birthday my mom took my dress, which 10 years later was still hanging in her closet, to be protected and boxed up so I could keep it for my daughter. I was so excited, and so was Lauren. We'll see what she thinks about that in about 20 years when it's her turn to be looking for a dress. She'll probably say thanks, but no thanks! Next week is the wedding party. How much fun. I then have a week to get my scanner working so I can scan those pics in too, hopefully with better quality than this.

You and your dress looked beautiful! Men never "get it" about the emotional attachment to a wedding dress! But that's OK!! We girls love a wedding and all the fixins', right???????

Great post!
Blessings!
